Even though there are already two generations of the
Corvette Z06 out there, the C6 Z06 is still one of the most impressive American muscle cars out there. The vehicle is equipped with a 7.0 liter V8 LS7 engine, delivering 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque. In addition, the LS7 found in the Z06 Corvette of this generation is the most powerful production naturally aspirated engine made by General Motors. The engine is connected to a Tremec TR6060 manual transmission system, allowing the Z06 of this generation to accelerate from 0-60mph (0-100km/h) in 3.6 seconds.
